Lady Gaga ditches top fashion labels for graduate designer

We are so excited for our new recruit!

Becky Short worked a great internship with us last summer and we were so impressed we offered her a job.

Her great cutting skills, and clever expertise with tailoring and cut made a lasting impression and

we new she would be a brilliant addition to the team with her quirky inspirational signature and her

effervescent personality and drive which would add another dimension and fun sparkle to our

boutique label.

SO thrilled about her well deserved publicity already, only recently graduated her talents have been spotted by Lady Gaga

and there are rumours that there could be a few more too..x

The pop dress, the delightful couture piece of cocktail party drama has now launched on suzannah.com and in the Suzannah boutique.

Inspired by a fabulous fifties ball gown, ..re-cut in a modern way to lift, nip, dramatise and make you feel like you

can whirl into the next decade and decades beyond.

Pop is corseted , has weeny shoulder pads within …its boned..underlayed with tulle and has the most stunning fin like back detail..

It hold you up, and  in and has the most wonderful theatrical hemline, yet still remains chic and understated in the wonderful couture cotton

colours of Golden Olive and Black.

AND our  Pop wedding dress is a stand out too,..Our most popular mini gown right now. The perfect vintage couture inspired wedding dress. Pop comes in two lengths. The midi is a great option too.

Always an amazing pleasure to style a client from head to hem. Caroline Greenwood, the beautiful wife of  GB Rugby Player Will Greenwood, came to the Suzannah boutique for her dress for Zara’s wedding.

She opted for the Oyster Tulip Hem One Shoulder dress. We made her a bespoke french levers lace soft kimono to work with the one shoulder neckline to keep the outfit appropriate for the church, and teamed with a wonderful piece of Millinery by Dillon Walwork.

To tie the tran-seasonal colour palette together,  we added the skinny Damson Patent leather belt, and to keep from being too matchy, we added a snakeskin bag which complimented her neutral dress and shoes and all of the neutral

tones from the lace kimono… She is clearly stunning anyway, but we were thrilled with this photo found online this morning.
