Beautiful film actress Elizabeth McGovern wears Suzannah to celebrate the BAFTA tribute of Downton Abbey.

Elizabeth chose the Jean Decorative Shift to wear to the red carpet affair for the tribute, and the Rock and Roll couture dress for the wrap party at the Ivy.

Both dresses looked effortlessly stylish. The vintage couture spirit shone through with Elizabeth’s wonderful Hollywood glamour styling directed by Ellie Lines. Completed with the perfect Rupert Sanderson heels..x

Fab coverage for our coin-dot culottes suit . The stunning designer and owner of brand Charlotte Olympia, Charlotte Dellal stepped out in the fab polkas to the launch of Iris this week. The documentary about Iris Apfel. Charlotte carried her new bag inspired by Iris, and teamed with perfectly painted lips and nails and her signature hair rolls.

Much coverage was received about the event .  W mag, Tatler , Vogue and the Telegraph featured the glamorous affair.

Alex Jones looked stunning last night wearing a strong quirky dress on the BBC’s One Show.

The red dress from the Suzannah collection was perfect for her personality.

The Boulder Shoulder body con dress in cherry red was from our AW 10 collection,…we currently have purple and olive in stock, and our fabric mill in Italy is

dying a fabulous deep orange and a pillar box red which will be ready for sewing soon: These dresses will be ready by mid march.

We’ve got our eyes on these dresses for a fab night out thinking that they would double up fabulously with a

pill box hat for Ascot! ( Forties in a fabulously constructed modern Herve Leger way peut-etre?)

The man-style coat is perfect for town or country . An easy chic classic inspired by a vintage 40s coat the simple

silhouette is nipped in with tiny pin tucks to give a neat waist and slimline look.

Looks fab with its own belt or also can be styled with a harder leather belt.

Denise Van Outen wears the 30s Vintage Print Tea Dress by Suzannah

Denise Van Outen looking fabulous wearing the Suzannah 30’s Vintage print Tea dress to David Walliams’ wedding at Claridges.

Looking stunning just after having her baby, she was photographed and featured in the Mail Online and also The Sun.

The dress suits Denise because of the low neckline and smocking detail under the bust to lift and give shape. The bias cut skirt part is gently cut to be sexily skimming, and just above the knee is picture perfect for this season, and baring in mind… too short could look wrong to this event and for her.

Teamed perfectly with strong slick peep toe ankle strap heels, the dress has a nod to the past with a 30s Vintage charm appeal which was perfect for Claridges.

Nathalie Imbruglia was also in a beautifully whimsical dress with a modern grecian feeling which I have since found out by the amazing stylist Karen Clarkson was designed by Phillip Lim.

The Suzannah Vintage 30s Dress was inspired by a piece which I bought at the Porte de Clignancourt market in Paris. The dress was maxi length and had a very stiff base, which made it look incredibly grand!  The print also had gold metallic embellishment. I wanted to take the essence of the piece… the depth and beauty of the print and translate it into a fun, quirky, ageless and season-less dress which would look as fabulous with bare legs, as on Denise… as with ribby Falke tights and strong courts in the winter months.

The tea dress silhouette has become a staple of the collection, I have experimented with different base cloths. Italian Crepe de Chine for a slightly more dressed down look, and silk satin for the Navy colour way to ensure the colours take on enough depth and saturation to look as ‘grand’ as its inspiration.

Grand National Winner for Petal Sculpt!!

What great news that my Petal Sculpt dress pulled top prize at the style awards for Ladies Day at Aintree last week. Thats a better result than winning any each way bet on the horses! Here’s the article from, plus a picture of the winner, Sophie Fairclough with Colleen. Always knew it was a favourite!

Fashion news….Suzannah ‘Petal Sculpt’ Dress wins Style Award at Aintree….


Journalism student Sophie Fairclough 20, from Formby, won the Style Award at Aintree at the weekend dressed in a striking silk emerald green dress by London based label Suzannah. She accessorized the dress with Christian Louboutin heels and a matching bag. (Judges included fashion legend Jeff Banks) Designer Suzannah Crabb said ‘Sophie looks amazing in my dress – she really deserved to win’.

Sophie won a new car, worth £12,000, a 10-day holiday to Barbados for two and a photoshoot at a top London studio as well as £200 to spend in Cricket and a goody bag from Benefit.

The stunned student said: “I’m so happy. I’m so shocked. “I put a lot of effort into getting ready for Ladies’ Day and had intended to enter the Style competition but I didn’t think that I would win’

The five finalists had been picked out of 1,900 entrants on Ladies’ Day by judges, Sheree Murphy, Emma Johnson, Ricky Whittle, Colin McAllister, Justin Ryan, Justine Mills and Lorraine McCulloch and designer Jeff Banks.

Banks said: “It’s almost got a retro 1950s look. “The emerald green colour is what everyone is predicting for 2011, so Sophie is ahead of the trend.”
