We thought we’d share our most popular favourite for the Regatta this year. The Lawn Dress. Our Sheer midi length Lawn dress has been a great choice for todays event. Controlled and slick with a romantic essence and beauty which can only be appreciated when wearing. The lightness of the silk crepe georgette and fine vintage lace trimmed underslip feels nostalgic, whimsical and totally elegant. Ticking all appropriate shoulder and below the knee criteria so effortlessly.

A touch of chic with our resort hat and just in case opt for flats or low wedges!..No riverbank sinkage 🙂

Rupert Sandersons Elegy is a great low heel option to wear with the sheer Lawn Dress.

the Emily London panama resort hat is a perfect choice too. Chicly flip back the brim . A wonderful outfit of ‘heritage chic’.

Quite beautiful, a wonderful fresh layout of olive greens and creams and gold,…all feeling like a nice drift into the tones for Fall’11..x

The silhouette of this dress is coming into its own.  So flattering with its wonderful couture structure and make .Flattering, slightly understated even in the fabulous retro yellow.

Somehow it is still not bling ,..just strong

The cover of Fabric looks great,…simple styled without its belt.

A good appropriate dress for an event. Will last through the seasons as can carry tights and stronger statement shoes too.

Our new versions of this dress are the flame lace one shoulder and of course the wonderful bridal Marvelette dress which is an even more indulgent take on this dress with the lace being all-over embroidered and totally lined in silk too

The lace adds a certain vintage charm whilst the slick lines and form of the silhouette keeps the lace from looking too sweet…x

I just love the Boodles campaigns. So beautiful, luxury and effortlessly stylish. Their jewelry is to die for as I recently found out when on the mission to find my engagement ring.

Delighted this season again though as they featured one of the Suzananh dresses for their main campaign shot. The Party on The Lawn Dress, which we have re-launched this season, and going into fall too. We have lengthened to a midi length , and added a few twists: Inserting strips of vintage lace to the under slip was our favourite…

so in case it slips off your shoulder,…you are beautiful underneath too. The tangerine hammered silk satin sash completes the beautiful tones…x

Vintage Inspired Dresses for Ascot…x

There is nothing better than getting totally dressed up for the races or any event!

We have many dresses of course,..but I am really excited about this new dress.

It is of course below the knee, has an ample strap and vintageously and wonderfully retro

perfect for the race course. It is a development from our  beautiful Tea Cup dress which Alex Jones wore

to present the Royal Wedding but with a simplified bodice part.

Styling. A substancial fascinator has to be the oversized corsage this year,…

although looks just as wonderful with a wide brimmed resort hat or cheeky pill box…x

and I did stumble upon these the other day ( well,…stumble into actually) these fabulous Paul Smith

Pin up Red patent shoes,…. this dress looks amazing with red!
