We were thrilled to see some of our outfits at the service as part of the Queen’s 90th celebrations at the weekend for the National service of Thanksgiving.
HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex wore a bespoke coat dress which we designed specifically for this occasion. The coat dress was originated from a beautiful 1940’s archive piece which we sourced in Paris earlier in the year and was originally from the States. The beautiful soft shoulder line and elegant collar-line lengthened the silhouette and acted as a beautiful frame to support the full fluid skirt part. The waistline was pitched slightly higher and swept down into the small of the back to give plenty of space for a dramatic hem sweep.
The coat dress was cut to be slightly a-frame at the front to skim the hips, with the fullness and drama thrown into the back seam-lines. The front hemline was rounded and soft to echo the raglan shoulder and collar with subtle echoes of this curvature in the cuff too.
The entire coat was made in London from a beautiful wool silk, and fully lined in silk whilst being fully mounted onto silk organza.
The result, a demure feminine piece which was worn with of course upmost elegance and grace.
Jane Taylor created the beautiful millinery, which she created to match the coat dress.

Autumn Phillips ( show below wearing the Kaleidoscope Racing Green) and the Countess of Ulster ( wearing the Wave dress with bespoke silk trims) also sported Suzannah looks. Autumn’s dress was coordinated with a beautiful feather and lace hat by Emily Baxendale, and Claire’s outfit was accessorised with the Jay hat by Awon Golding..x
