A great day at the races on Saturday at Cheltenham. Louisa, our boutique manager wore the beautiful Snap Coat tweed as planned and a gorgeous trilby by Edwina Ibbotson. Chic, effortless and such a modern interpretation of classic tweed and felt style.

Racing Blog…by Louisa Corbisiero for Suzannah.. x
The racing season has begun
The racing season is kicking off early in preparation for The Cheltenham Festival.
The Festival Trials day held tomorrow, Saturday 30th January is the best one day jump fixture in the UK. An exciting lead up to the main event. I am the boutique manager/concierge at Suzannah. I am an avid racing fan, and I will be attending 🙂
The Festival 15th-18th March with the two main attractions being Wednesday 16th March Ladies Day and Friday 18th March The Gold Cup.
This is the highlight of the jump season, showing the finest horses, jockeys, owners and trainers and we are there to see the finest in fashion.
We have created an outfit for the Festival Trials Day, keeping on trend with the tweed style necessary for winter racing but with a Suzannah modern edge.
Here is my outfit! It will be really cold. I need to be warm enough for outdoors, and then still chic for indoors when I can peal off a layer to head inside for a drink and something to eat.
SO. Underneath I shall be wearing the Kaleidoscope in pink tweed. A great piece as I can wear it with knee high suede boots and tights or ankle boots.
Then I can wear the Snap Coat over the top. The silhouettes work together well. I will also opt for our fake fur collarette! a bit of warmth and glamour never goes a miss with the racing crowd.
And of course I need to keep my head warm. Edwina Ibbotson has the most fantastic felt trilbys which are perfect for this type of event. Ed has kindly lent me one of her sample pieces. I need to look winter race chic. I tried many felt pieces with feathers which all would essentially be great, but I felt the trilby looked a little bit more casual and effortless on this particular occasion.
So. Here’s my outfit. And tomorrow I will send you a photo in situ.

Beautiful Suzannah outfits spotted at Royal Ascot 2015..x
What a fabulous five days of gorgeous weather, racing, dresses and wonderful millinery! We were delighted to have seen so many of our dresses on our lovely customers throughout all five days of Royal Ascot plus the Ascot event; Goffs horse sale at The Orangery in Kensington Palace. Though I’m sure there are many photos we have not yet seen, here are a few snaps from Royal Ascot 2015 so far..x
Here is a wonderful quote from the Queen which sums up the event and how it has changed to be a worldwide recognised spectacle.
“I often reflect on how much Royal Ascot has evolved in recent years. At the turn of the millennium, Royal Ascot was very much a European affair, but now we share the wonderful spectacle with the whole world. We have horses representing many countries in front of an audience, both here at Ascot and watching at home, from far and wide.” – The Queen

We were absolutely thrilled to have dressed HRH Countess of Wessex on Saturday 9th May.
HRH stepped out in Guernsey and Jersey and represented the Queen for the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands.
HRH wore a bespoke colourway of the 1950s influenced midi dress. She accessorized the wonderful outfit with black. We made her a silk couture bow belt, and Jane Taylor made her a wonderful black pillbox.
